Funds to Benefit Falconer and Randolph Regions
Never is grantmaking more local than through the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation’s geographic Field of Interest Funds. These funds provide consistent, annual support to address critical community needs, at the direction of residents and community leaders.
Each year the Foundation distributes grants through the John Edward McLaughlin Family Fund for the benefit of the Randolph area and the combined efforts of the Falconer Region Community Fund and the Donald R. Swanson Memorial Fund to those in the communities that comprise the Falconer Central School District. These grants demonstrate the enduring benefits of endowment funds, designed to provide ongoing resources for needs of specific geographic areas. Recent grants include support for church building improvements, library programming, and volunteer fire department equipment.
“The geographic grants process is intended to be easy to access for those with little to no experience writing grants,” said Elizabeth Jones, Community Impact Officer. “Organizations that have great projects can get started by visiting chautauquagrants.org or by contacting the Foundation for assistance."
The deadline to apply is April 1st.
