GRANTMAKING
The Chautauqua Region Community Foundation annually awards over $1.5 million through competitive grant-making opportunities across a broad range of organizations and projects. Nonprofit 501 (c)(3) public organizations, municipalities, school districts and faith-based organizations located in or serving Southern Chautauqua County are eligible to apply. All grant applications are reviewed by community volunteers and the Foundation’s Board of Directors

OPPORTUNITIES

Supports emerging needs and one-time costs, such as purchases for program/service enhancement and modest capital improvements. Open to faith-based organizations.
Due: Bi-monthly; last Wednesday of even months
Range: $1,000- $4,000

Supports programming, operating, and capital improvement projects that seek to address a community need or deliver broad community benefit.
Due: March 3, August 1
Range: $4,000- $20,000

Supports large scale programming or capital projects that address documented community needs or deliver significant economic impact.
Due: Pre-Applications due December 2; full applications by invitation
Range: Over $20,000

Supports emerging needs and one-time costs, organizations serving Falconer, Kennedy, Ellington and Randolph NY communities. Open to faith-based organizations.
Due: April 1
Range: $1,000- $4,000

Chautauqua Grants is a website that helps to connect organizations with local funding opportunities. Organizations can create an account to access a menu of online grant applications from several local funders, manage active grant applications or submit reports. The website also serves as a resource to connect organizations with other regional, state and national funding opportunities.
