Whiffy Fund Is A Home Run For Youth Baseball Fans

The Whiffy Fund provides access to baseball games by offsetting the cost of tickets. It’s a partnership between the Tarp Skunks, the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, and the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame. "This program has been nothing short of a home run," noted Board Member Randy Anderson. It's provided access to so many children and youth groups who might not have had access before, and given them an evening of safe and fun time with friends and family."

In the summer of 2024, The Whiffy Fund covered admission for over 2,500 youth to attend Tarp Skunks games free of charge. "This fund is an example of how the Foundation partners with community organizations to achieve a considerable and far-reaching impact," added Tory Irgang.
