In celebration of National Community Foundation Week, the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation will hold its annual open house on Thursday from 9 a.m. until Noon at the foundation’s office, located at 418 Spring Street, Jamestown. The event is free and open to the public. Reservations are not needed.
WJTN’S Jim Roselle will broadcast live all morning and will interview representatives from workforce development and education initiatives. Special guests include: Tim Mains, Jamestown Public Schools superintendent; Rex McCray, Weber Knapp Company president/CEO; representatives from the Chautauqua Lake Central School Manufacturer’s Club; Sue Benson, BOCES administrator and P-Tech representative and Lillian Ney, Health Care Action Team chair.
For over 35 years, the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation has been a leader and facilitator on many important issues in our region. Most recently, the foundation has provided financial support to local nonprofit organizations through its Fund for the Region to increase economic development, provide quality healthcare and education, and support local arts and culture.
